In response to a plea from the CAP Foundation for donations to help in their humanitarian relief efforts in Haiti, PSC executive board has approved a donation of $1,000 from PSC to further this cause. This donation is desperately needed for the recovery efforts of Haiti and would fulfills PSC's mission of global outreach in the area of pathology. Giving through the CAP Foundation will also help ensure that the donated money will go where it is needed and not to the corrupt government. In addition, one of the PSC EB members, Matt Zarka, will be leading CAP’s efforts in Haiti for both short-term needs and for the rebuilding that will be so critical.
